Talk 2: Manet and the Impressionists, October 26h, 7.30pm
Raphael Hynes discusses when Modern life becomes the subject for the artist.
Talk 3: The Post-Impressionists, November 2nd, 7.30pm
Raphael Hynes discusses when the artist no longer feels obliged to depict a “realistic” representation of the world but instead creates a personal vision in which colour and brush work are used as a means of expression.
