Dublin City Council through their Smart Dublin regional initiative have recently launched an SBIR call for tenders which are relevant to the software development sector. The call is online on eTenders plus they are having an information event in Enterprise Ireland offices on the 23rd March at 10:00, full details below. SBIR refers to the public procurement of research and development on new innovative solutions before they are commercially available. It involves different suppliers competing through different phases of development, while the risks and benefits are shared between the procurers and the suppliers under market conditions.
