First Aid Training for Parents

Thanks to funding from the Galway Childcare Committee we are happy to bring this fantastic learning opportunity to mums & dads in Kinvara again. We ran a similar training last year with excellent feedback.

In this highly informative two-hour class from Parent First Aid, you will learn essential life-saving techniques enabling you to act quickly in the event of a family medical emergency. The insightful two-hour Parent First Aid paediatric class caters for busy parents and childminders, who simply don’t have the time to attend half day or full day courses. There will be an option to purchase a paediatric first aid kit for €20 on the day.

The training will be facilitated by a highly qualified and experienced first aid instructormwithin the health & safety industry. All instructors are all Pre Hospital Emergency Care Council, Occupational First Aid Assessment Agent and FETAC qualified.

This event will run in the main hall of Kinvara Community Centre and is not suitable for actively mobile children; small infants may come along in buggies or baby carriers.

15 spaces available, tickets only €6.50.

The parent & toddler group, for children and accompanying adults, will run as usual in the meeting room from 10am-12pm on the same day.
