Outdoor Yoga in Marlay Park 9.30-10.30am Friday mornings all summer long!

(except concert days 21/6, 28/6, 5/7)

Join us in Marlay Park this summer: class is a mixed-ability yoga flow with mindfulness suitable for everyone!

Enter park, turn left, cross one bridge, we are on the left. We meet on the lawn near the iron man. If it's dry bring your yoga mat. If it's raining bring a raincoat and sturdy shoes. Warm layers are essential, rain or shine, even if it looks lovely and sunny when you leave your house, Marlay can get a cold wind. In rain we do some yoga and posture awareness under the trees and head for a forest bathing immersive mindfulness walk.

Friday 7th June and Friday 14th June (then a 3-week break as the concerts are on, back on July 12th).

Yoga is suitable for all levels. You will be offered lots of choices, please choose what calms your nervous system and soak up the beautiful supportive environment.

Sylvia Ferguson teaches yoga, meditation and mindfulness in Dublin and internationally. Yoga and meditation classes are clear and easy to follow, encouraging benefits long beyond the practice. Online classes are designed leave you feeling grounded, inspired, and calm.

A DCU and Yoga Therapy Ireland graduate, Sylvia is has a Masters in Mindfulness Based Interventions from University College Dublin.

Sylvia hosts events combining yoga and mindfulness in nature. One-hour classes and two-hour workshops are designed to stretch and soften the body while quieting the mind. The yoga is for mixed levels, every class includes some focused strengthening and posture work. Workshops include deep relaxation practices.

You'll find her in Mutton Lane Yoga Studio, Tibradden, all year round. She teaches monthly yoga retreats in Dr. Eva Orsmond's Health Hotel, Solar Alvura, Portugal. Outdoor summer yoga classes are in Marlay Park, Rathfarnham. Sylvia has an extensive library of online classes offering accessible yoga to all, for example her Daily Collection consists of five thirty minute practices for your daily dose of yoga and mindfulness.
