Outdoor First Aid
Ideal for leaders or participants in outdoor sports. This course is open to members of outdoor clubs in Castlebar and surronding area
A two-day course that is recognised by the MLTUK, BCU, RYA and other outdoor governing bodies. On this course the focus is on dealing with incidents far from medical help with the minimal equipment you would carry while participating in or leading outdoor activities. Emphasis is on practical skills with plenty of hands-on practice including lots of outdoor scenarios. This course can be tailored to the requirements of special interest groups, for example climbers, mountain leaders, paddle sports instructors or divemaster’s. Learn the skills to deal with first aid situations that occur in remote or isolated areas. E.g, on water, hills, forests etc..
Please wear warm outdoor clothing and solid footwear and bring pen and notepad
