Description

Step into the first day of spring with this profoundly powerful blend of self-care tools. Join Niall, Daniella and Natasha for a healing half-day retreat including Wim Hof breath work and ice immersion, medicinal cacao and restorative Yin.

Created to reset, restore and recharge on every level - mind, body and spirit.

Who are we:

Niall is a certifed Wim Hof Method instructor, a herbalist, traditional Irish healer and a former international athlete. He trains regularly with Wim Hof himself, scaling snow covered mountains around Europe in sub-zero temperatures wearing nothing but shorts. His passion for this practice is undeniable, proudly accrediting it for making him "a better father, a better husband and a better man". The Wim Hof Method is now scientifically proven to transform people's lives and Niall can teach you how with some simple breath-work and cold exposure.

Daniella is a registered yoga and meditiation teacher, certified in nutritional science and lifestyle medicine. She is also a trainee psychotherapist working closely with The Stress Management Institute of Ireland. She has travelled to 84 countries around the world, living in Mexico and Bali, devouring a wide variety of holistic wellness practices as she roamed - Qi Gong, ayurvedic medicine and vipassana meditation to name a few. Daniella is extremely passionate about nervous system regulation and the practices that empower people to activate that much needed relaxation response.

Natasha facilitates cacao as a vibrational medicine and holds a welcoming nurturing space for all humans through all terrains. She is a passionate doula, a representative for doTERRA oils and a wild, free-thinking, earth loving mother of three. Natasha is infatuated with all things health, wellbeing and delving deep. An advocate for woman's innate power, she is here to thrive rather than survive.

What is The Wim Hof Method:

Are you stressed? Tired? Sick? Or looking for a competitive advantage?

You can transform your health, how you feel and how you think by learning the Wim Hof Method. I can teach you. Then, you’ll have the skills you need to live a healthier, happier and stronger life.

You'll learn how to:

  • Breathe fully and deeply, improving your health, giving you more energy and reducing stress

  • Improve your focus and determination, helping you explore and eventually master your body and mind

  • Use gradual exposure to the cold to strengthen your immune system, balance hormone levels and elevate your mood

More benefits of learning the Wim Hof Method:

  • Increased energy

  • Better Sleep

  • Heightened focus and determination

  • Improved sports performance

  • Reduced stress levels

  • Greater cold tolerance

  • Faster recovery

  • Enhanced creativity

What is cacao:

Warm drinking chocolate straight from the jungle rainforests of Guatemala, in it's rawest form cacao is a medicinal plant that assists us in opening our heart, dissolving the layers that keep us from living with love. The spirirt, energy and chemical compounds of raw cacao will guide us home to ourselves - to what it is we need to see - gently showing us the door yet allowing us to choose if we want to explore. When we are at home in our bodies, with a regulated nervous system, we can deepen into our meditation and yoga experience allowing us to enter states of clarity, bliss and relaxation generally outside of our conscious experience.

What is Yin:

Practiced in our warm and welcoming space, Yin is a deeply restorative and relaxing style of yoga, accessible to seasoned or new yogis alike. Its practice is much slower and more passive than a typical flow class. Postures are held comfortably with props for 3 - 5 minutes. It is an amazing aid for the deep release of muscle tension and for the surfacing of emotion held within our bodies for far too long, creating new space for healing and vitality.

Frequently asked questions

What should I bring to the event?

Yoga mats, props and everything else will be provided. All you need to bring is some bottled water, a towel and swim wear for getting into the ice bath. Please wear comfortable clothes as we will be moving and stretching.

Do I need to prepare for the workshop?

When you sign up for the workshop, Niall will send you an information pack. It would be great if you could read through that before the workshop. In that will be an optional 20-day challenge. Don't worry: it will take less than a minute per day to complete! Also, health declaration and informed consent forms for you to fill-out.

How do I practise the Wim Hof Method safely?

The breathing exercise has a profound effect and should be practised in the way it is explained. Always do the breathing exercise in a safe environment (e.g. sitting on a couch/floor) and unforced. Never practise the exercises before or during diving, driving, swimming, taking a bath or in any other environment/place where, should you pass out, a serious injury could occur. Wim Hof breathing may cause tingling sensations and/or lightheadedness. If you’ve fainted, it means that you went too far. Take a step back next time.

The cold is a powerful force. We strongly advise to gradually build up exposing yourself to the cold. Always train without force and listen to your body carefully. If it is not practised responsibly, there is a risk of hypothermia.

Do not practise the method during pregnancy or if you're epileptic. People with cardiovascular health issues, or any other (serious) health conditions, should always consult a medical doctor before starting the Wim Hof Method.
